2016 In The Community
To sign up, please contact Meghann at 780-919-8624 or sign up at the form on the bottom. We understand that work schedules, etc will change – this just gives an idea how many people we can expect at each event and whether we need to partner with another team to have the required number of people.
Saturday, January 16
Edmonton Food Bank
10am-1pm
20 people
We will be volunteering in the warehouse helping sort food and preparing hampers.
Saturday, February 6
Special Olympics
There will be a training session the evening of Jan.28 and then we will be reffing their floor hockey tournament on the 6th.
Saturday, March 12
Kids Kottage
10am-1pm
10-15 people
We will be helping out at the cottage with whatever they need – could include helping getting the yard ready for the kids to play in, doing some baking for the kids, etc.
Saturday, April 23
Tegler Youth Center
10am-1pm
The Tegler Youth Center is a part of the Hope Mission. We will be volunteering with the kids, playing sports and hanging out.
Saturday, May 14
John Howard Society
10am-1pm
We will be helping out painting fences at one of the John Howard Society halfway houses.
