Wildcats Hit the Road to Face the Thunder

The Edmonton Wildcats travel to Saskatchewan this weekend to take on the Regina Thunder at Mosaic Stadium in Regina on Sunday August 21st game time 1:00pm. Both teams are come off loses from last weekends contests and will be looking to get on track and post points in the win column.

The Wildcats want to avenge their 32-14 lose last year at home to the Thunder by returning the favor in their house. The keys in this match will be to generate more offense and to dominate on special teams.

The Wildcat offense will be led by 2nd year Quarterback Andrew Johnson and will be looking to improve on his performance from last week. The running game led by 2nd year Taylor Souster will also be one of the keys to getting the offense on track along with the receiving corp of Adam Senuik, Tyler Henry and David Grange.

Defensively the Cats will be relying heavily on veteran DL Steven Giang and LB Kevin Hanson to anchor the defense with Miguel Barker, Kael Schryver, Zack Brown and Kris Gibson locking down the secondary.

All Edmonton Wildcat practices are at Rundle Park and the players take to the field around 7:00 pm nightly.
