Former Wildcat, Jay Meraw, retires from High School Coaching

Former Wildcat Jay Meraw, Head Coach of St. Joseph Saints High School Football for over 30 years, announced his retirement from coaching.

The Wildcats have a player trophy established in Coach Meraw’s name,the Wildcat Attitude Award, that has been presented for many years to a Wildcat player who best exemplifies what Jay brought to the team when he was with the Wildcats.

Jay played for the Wildcats from 1972 to 1976. His Wildcat family wishes him well in his retirement.
