Wildcats Add Coaches for 2012

The Edmonton Wildcats are pleased to announce the addition of two veteran coaches to their staff for the 2012 season. Barclay Spady and Len Mora will join the already experienced staff and bring with them a very successful record at a variety of levels.
Barclay Spady will begin his third stint with the Wildcats having previously worked as the defensive coordinator and in 2001-2002 as the defensive line coach. “Barclay has built the Bev Facey Falcons high school program into a dominant program through hard work, not to mention the outstanding work he has done with the various football Alberta teams he has been associated with.” Barclay will take over the Defensive line in 2012 a position he also holds currently with the World team competing in next months Under 20 championships.

Like Barclay, Len Mora comes with a tremendous amount of experience in both Canada and the United States. Most recently Len has been the defensive backs coach at Bev Facey and with a variety of minor teams in and around Sherwood Park. “We are extremely proud to have a man of Len’s Character come on board with our club. He will bring a unique perspective to our organization and a record of success at all levels. “. Len will handle the defensive backs with the Wildcats in 2012.

Head Coach Darcy Park believes that the addition of these two men, along with the group of coaches and players that have been to two national championships, should put the Wildcats in position to return to the top of the PFC in 2012. “The league is as strong and competitive as ever and we believe we have improved our organization.”
